We've started our grand journey of moving to the Mauthausen/Linz area! Jonathan and I will be staying in the new house through this week and into next week to help Tim and Karyn (Micah's parents) with an English learning seminar for young people in Mauthausen. We'll be setting up different stations with games and lessons for students to rotate through. I'm excited for our native language to actually be an advantage for once! Then we will return to Salzburg to help Micah, Melia, and Abby with our moving yard sale. After that we'll be saying our goodbyes to the city and officially be heading to the country.
Jesus gave us such an awesome blessing last night. As we were coming and going from the house one of our neighbors greeted us from her window and sweetly invited us over to her place. It was such an amazing evening. We talked about many topics and they were so friendly, interested, and welcoming. On top of that we got to talk about Jesus together. I couldn't believe how sweetly it unfolded.
Random wonderful aspect of our new place: On Saturday mornings at 8 am a truck rolls onto our street and honks twice. This cryptic signal alerts us and our neighborhood to fresh baked bread!!! Literally this wonderful baker comes every week basically to our doorstep and sells toasty, tasty, stone oven baked goods. A friend jokingly told us it is definitely a confirmation from God that we are in the right place :)
